Software Support

EVO supports Revit 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021

Currently EVO only support Revit

No, unfortunately Revit LT doesn't support external plugins or apps, so you need the full installation of Revit.

No EVO need to have internet connection to work correctly

EVO requires the ability to run as localhost. It also needs to have access to communicate with all websites under bimobject.com, including but not limited to evo.bimobject.com in order to function.

The following ports are required:

  • 12907
  • 14407

Libraries

In order for several people to access the same content, for instance a library with shared generic Revit content, they need to import the same library from the same network drive/path.

No, EVO doesn't allow sharing of local libraries yet. For now, you and your team member will have to import the same local library from the same place. Take a look at this video to see how it's done!

Families

Yes, you can, and yes, there is! Download the BIMobject App for Revit. This app and EVO complement each other nicely.

No, unfortunately, that isn't possible – at least, not yet.
